Love Marriage Vs Arranged Marriage

Got a fwd from my colleague on it,so thought to make a post..btw was eagerly waitng for some topic:-)
During college days,i found this topic in discussion in bakar room and found ppl asking each one's opinion.
Let me give a brief on each...
Love marriage:Here you get a chance to have a life partner of your choice. That does not always mean that you got what you were wishing for.You atleast get a partner whom you know prehand and are ready to accept.
In indian society it is not widely accepted so ultimately parents put pressure on there childrens for not opting it and in any case if they go for LM and end up in some mis-understanding,no one is ready to guide them as all were against it.
Arrange marriage:Here you have to go with your parents choice, though you are always asked for your opinion, but you dont have any solid base to make a decision so you just give a green signal for the choice.
Here failure occurs due to lack of adjustment with your partner, may be they have some preset expectation from partner.Due to backup of family,mis-understanding are mostly resolved and you have no choice but to live life with a smile.

Now days,i have seen more of LM then AM.This is due to:
1.Parents are educated enough to go with younger generation choice as they know that there childrens are the ones who have to live life.
2.Life is so hectic that no one has time to pock there nose in others life.
3.LM is turning out to be succesful,so more signs of acceptance by society.

Surely days are not far, when ppl will take arrange marriage with a surprise and accept luv marriages with open arms.
What abt Luv cum arranged marriage..you ppl can guess it out:-)

When i went for my cousin marriage, all my bhabhee's were asking my preference on it and they told that AM is better...but i was thinking how can they be so sure abt it as they have not seen the other side:-)

Adding up forwarded mail....and wish you all a happy and cheerful valentine's day with your luv one's.

Love Marriage
-----------------------------------
Resembles procedural programming
language. We have some set
functions like flirting, going to
movies together, making long
conversations on phone and then try
to fit all functions to the
candidate we like.
-----------------------------------
It is a throwaway type of prototype
as client requirements rises with
time thus it is a dynamic system
and difficult to maintain.
-----------------------------------
Family system hangs because
hardware (called parents) is not
responding.
-----------------------------------
You are the project leader so u are
responsible for implementation and
execution of PROJECT- married life.

-----------------------------------
Client expectations include
exciting feature as spouse cooking
food, washing clothes etc.
-----------------------------------
Acceptance test possible you can
try before you Buy.

-----------------------------------
Love Marriage is like Windows,
beautiful n seductive.... Yet one
never knows when it will crash....
-----------------------------------

Arranged Marriage
-----------------------------------
Similar to object oriented
programming approach. We first fix
the candidate and then try to
implement functions on her. The
functions are added to supplement
the main program. The functions can
be added or deleted.
-----------------------------------
Requirements are well defined so
use of waterfall model is possible

-----------------------------------
Compatible with hardware (Parents).

-----------------------------------
You are a team member under project
leader (parents) so they are
responsible for successful
execution of project Married life.
-----------------------------------
All these features are covered in
the SRS as required features.

-----------------------------------
Product is sold on an as is where
is basis. Product once sold will
not be taken back!
-----------------------------------
Arranged Marriage is like Unix...
boring n colorless... still
extremely reliable n robust
